7 Crazy Days of SXSW

All I can say about this past week is WOW!!!

Or as Brendon would say: SXSWow

Never in my life have I been SO busy with SO much music and so many film parties!! Everyday I would ask myself; Where am I? What day is this?? What did I do yesterday?! The days were literally running together.. Trying to think of a weeks worth of events for this post was extremely challenging, actually. I had to pull the scribbled SXSW schedule I had written out of my handbag to recap part of the week! It was ALL worth it!!

SXSW = BEST. TIME. EVER!

I literally took over 600 pictures the first couple of days! My idea was doing one massive SXSW post, BUT when I loaded all of my pictures, my idea didn’t seem so realistic! I am trying it anyway!! I have had to go thru TONS and TONS of images and narrow it down to the best ones of EACH event!

In a nutshell… I went to multiple events everyday, starting with Film parties on Monday, March 14 and moved on to Music events through Sunday, March 20! Keep in mind… along with all of these events I was working my normal 8am-5pm job!!

Events attended:

Monday: Head to Solid Gold to Style Mrs. Anne Hudson Andrews for the MTV Woodie Awards, Austin Chronicle Film Party

Tuesday: Ray Benson’s Birthday Party at GSD&M

Wednesday: MTV Woodie Awards Red Carpet

Thursday: Went out with Denisse!, Strokes at Auditorium Shores, C3 Party!

Friday: Playing in Traffic at Whole Foods, Fender Party at Peche, ate an early dinner at 219 West, Texas Music Magazine Party, ACL Live for Lost Highway/BMI Artist Party, Saxon Pub

Saturday: Sleep LATE, Austin Java with Denisse, Cedar St. for Naked and Famous, and W for Perez Hilton!

Brendon’s events = all of those above + about 20 more! Intense… I couldn’t pull myself to stay up that late. I sure do LOVE my beauty rest and I sure do NEED it so I could function properly the next day!

SO, with all of that being said… Everyone BETTER enjoy this LONG ass post!!!
